In yet another shocking news of jungle justice, two young men were caught, stripped n*ked, lynched and set ablaze by residents of a community in Imo state.

A Facebook user identified as Amaefule Emmanuel, has taken to the social networking platform to share some disturbing photos and the story of two robbers were caught by local residents, stripped unclad, lunched and burnt to death in a community in Imo state.

"7:45:AM, 04/06/2017 Out of anger this young men was killed by villages because of what is happening in our community, we all knows that country is hard but we should not involve in this kind of act called criminal it can damage your image, anyway the wages of sin is dt...God have mercy on them."

The leadership of the Nigerian Army has been urged to bring fresh heads to the theartre of war on the north-east to boost the ongoing battle.

A Nigerian soldier who has been in the northeast region for two years now - has called on the army authorities to consider and rotate soldiers due to increasing rate of deaths of troops.

 

According to him, overstay of gallant soldiers in the region makes their morale weak in the battlefield.

 

The soldier urged the army authorities to give their deployment to the northeast a duration so that fresh hands can come and fight against Boko Haram insurgents.

 

The plea was shared online by the Nigerian Army Depot in Zaria, Kaduna state.

According to Herald Live, it confirmed the authenticity of the pictures saying it was of a deformed stillborn lamb was born in the Lady Frere area.

At least 5 people were killed and several others injured in fresh attacks on Fulani settlements by suspected Mambilla militia in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State on Saturday.

 

The spokesman for the Taraba State Police Command, ASP David Misal, who confirmed the incident said the crisis started on Thursday over a land dispute between Fulani and Mambilla in Yerimaru village and later snowballed into neighbouring villages.

 

Misal said that units of mobile policemen and soldiers from the 20 battalion in Serti have been dispatched to the area to maintain law and order, adding that several homes were burnt down and many cows killed and stolen during the attack.

 

A fleeing resident Saadu Mogoggo whose house was attacked at Leme suburb of Gembu, said two of his younger brothers were killed their cattle were rustled by the militia.
