Nigerian star, Chidinma has made international headlines after empowering over 600 youths in Uganda and other parts of Africa.
Nigerian singer and songwriter, Chidinma Ekile, popularly known by her stage name Chidinma, has paid a three-day visit to Uganda aimed at inspiring young people through a reach out project, GetupSpeakOut, organised by Reach A Hand, Uganda.
According to Punch, the non-profit youth-led organisation focused on youth empowerment programs with the emphasis on #SRHR and HIV/AIDS awareness.
She empowered over 600 young people from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia through her inspiring speech.
She spoke on topics ranging from teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, peer pressure, rape to drug abuse to mark the foundation’s fourth Annual Youth Camp dubbed #GetUpSpeakOut
She attended the event alongside Emmanuel Ikubese, the lead actor in the award winning TV Series MTV Shuga.
